✨ To meditate on today
According to Attar, the Persian Sufi poet, a poor woodcutter whose bundle King Mahmud wants to buy declares that his thorns, which were worth almost nothing, have become more precious than roses because the king has touched them: in the same way, the modest things we offer take on their full value when God welcomes them. Today, look gently at something in yourself that you consider worthless, and offer it to God just as it is.
