✨ To meditate on today
According to Rumi, the Persian Sufi poet, a man reminds a prince that alms given out of mercy ward off misfortune and heal the one who gives them, and that there is no kindness in making the poor and the humble suffer. Today, give discreetly to someone in need — a little money, a meal, some time — without expecting anything in return.
