✨ To meditate on today
According to the Sutta-Nipâta, the Buddha, asked by a farmer what his work is, describes his own inner “ploughing”: guarding his body and speech, eating with moderation, letting truth cut away falsehood, and finding his deliverance in tenderness. Today, at every meal and with every word, choose gentleness rather than harshness, toward yourself as well as others.
