He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into watersprings. And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, And they establish a city of habitation; And sow fields, and plant vineyards, Which yield fruits of increase. He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, And suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

✨ To meditate on today
According to the psalmist, God turns the wilderness into a land of pools and dry ground into springs: people who were hungry found a city there, sow, plant and reap in abundance. Today, facing a difficulty, look for the small beginning that could make hope take root, and take that first step, as one sows a field.
