✨ To meditate on today

According to Attar, a Persian Sufi poet, who reports here the advice of a master of Tus to his disciple, love refines our being and lightens it of its pride, until it is delicate enough to rest very close to the beloved — an image of intimacy with God. Today, let love lighten something heavy in you: give up a touchiness, a grudge or a need to be right, in order to come closer to someone.
