✨ To meditate on today

According to Saadi, the Persian poet of the “Gulistan” (“The Rose Garden”), a jewel fallen into the mire keeps all its value, and dust, even raised up to heaven, remains dust: worth comes from what one is, not from the place where one finds oneself. Today, if someone, or you yourself, is going through a moment “in the mire” (failure, criticism, humiliation), remember that their worth remains intact and treat them with the same respect as before.
