Many waters cannot quench charity, neither can the floods drown it.

Excerpt

Many waters cannot quench charity, neither can the floods drown it: if a man should give all the substance of his house for love, he shall despise it as nothing.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the Song of Songs, nothing can quench or drown true love, and it cannot be bought: anyone who thought to pay for it with all his wealth would have understood nothing. Today, offer someone you love a sign of love that costs nothing (time, a listening ear, a true word) rather than an object.
