✨ To meditate on today

According to the Itivuttaka, the Buddha praises concord in the community (“the Order”) and the kindliness of those who live in harmony: whoever rejoices in agreement and helps others to be reconciled remains in security and knows a long joy (an “aeon” is an immense span of time). Today, ease a tension around you: take the first step toward someone with whom the bond has cooled, or help two people understand each other.
