โœจ To meditate on today

According to the Dhammapada, a rule as old as the world holds that hatred is never put out by hatred, but only by its absence, by love; whoever knows how to restrain himself no longer keeps quarrels alive. Today, when faced with a harsh word or a grudge, do not answer in the same tone: let some time pass, then respond calmly and kindly.
