Lesson 28

There is not one living creature that the Tathāgata passes by or leaves aside.

Excerpt

Just as a mighty trumpeter makes himself heard--and that without difficulty--in all the four quarters of the earth; even so is the coming of the Tathāgata: there is not one living creature that the Tathāgata passes by or leaves aside, but regards them all with mind set free, and deep-felt love.

✨ To meditate on today

According to the Gospel of Buddha, just as the sound of a trumpet carries in every direction, the coming of the Buddha (the Tathāgata) reaches all beings: he neglects none and regards them all with a free mind and deep love. Today, think of someone you tend to ignore or leave aside, and give them a real moment of kind attention.
