โœจ To meditate on today

According to the Gospel of Buddha, the sage Asita announces at the birth of Siddhattha, the future Buddha, that his teaching will welcome like a shore those who are shipwrecked and refresh like a cool lake those parched by desire. Today, when you feel torn or overwhelmed, stop for a moment, breathe, and imagine yourself beside a cool, peaceful lake; then be that calm shore yourself for someone who needs it.
