He who, even as a young Bhikshu, applies himself to the doctrine of Buddha, brightens up this world, like the moon when free from clouds.

According to the Dhammapada, the Bhikshu (the monk), even when young, who devotes himself to the Buddha’s teaching brightens the world like the moon when the clouds have cleared: it is never too early to do good. Today, take a moment to read or meditate on a word of wisdom, then let it light up the way you act with others.
