The Holy Spirit needs my voice today, that all the world may listen to Your Voice, and hear Your Word through me. I am resolved to let You speak through me, for I would use no words but Yours, and have no thoughts which are apart from Yours, for only Yours are true. I would be Savior to the world I made. For having damned it, I would set it free that I may find escape, and hear the Word Your holy Voice will speak to me today.
We teach today what we would learn, and that alone. And so our learning goal becomes an unconflicted one, and possible of easy reach and quick accomplishment. How gladly does the Holy Spirit come to rescue us from hell, when we allow His Teaching to persuade the world, through us, to seek and find the easy path to God!
The Holy Spirit speaks through you today.
Having offered your eyes (Lesson 295), this lesson invites you to offer your voice as well. In the curriculum, it is the next step in the gift of yourself. The Holy Spirit needs your voice today so the whole world may hear the Voice of God and receive His Word through you. You are resolved to let God speak through you, for you wish to use no words but His, and to have no thoughts apart from His. Only His are true.
The central idea is that you wish to be the savior of the world you once condemned through your judgments, and now you desire to set it free. You teach today what you wish to learn, and only that. Your purpose in learning becomes without conflict, easy to fulfill. With what joy the Holy Spirit comes to rescue you from hell when you allow His teaching, through you, to persuade the world to seek and find the gentle way that leads to God.
This lesson prepares for the final lessons 297–300 on forgiveness, love, and holiness. It echoes Lesson 275 (the healing voice of God) and Lesson 276 (the Word of God is given me to say). Offering your voice to the Holy Spirit is the culmination of all communication work: your words no longer come from the ego but become channels for God’s truth.
To live this lesson today, before speaking, pause a moment and ask: "Holy Spirit, what words would You speak through me?" Then speak with confidence. Do not worry about saying the perfect thing, trust that the right words will come. If you catch yourself speaking in judgment or fear, pause and recenter. Offer your voice again. You will find your words carry a peace and wisdom you did not have on your own. You become a spokesperson for God.
Your voice can be God’s voice in the world. Every word you speak can carry peace, healing, and truth. Today, let the Holy Spirit speak through you. The world needs to hear what you have to say.
