God's promises make no exceptions. And He guarantees that only joy can be the final outcome found for everything. Yet it is up to us when this is reached; how long we let an alien will appear to be opposing His. And while we think this will is real, we will not find the end He has appointed as the outcome of all problems we perceive, all trials we see, and every situation that we meet. Yet is the ending certain. For God's Will is done in earth and Heaven. We will seek and we will find according to His Will, Which guarantees that our will is done.
We thank You, Father, for Your guarantee of only happy outcomes in the end. Help us not interfere, and so delay the happy endings You have promised us for every problem that we can perceive;for every trial we think we still must meet.

A happy outcome to all things is sure.
After tasting Christ’s peace (lesson 291), this lesson offers you absolute certainty about the future. In the curriculum, it is a declaration of unshakable trust. God’s promises make no exceptions. He guarantees that only joy can be the final outcome of every thing. The moment this is realized depends on you, how long you allow a foreign will to seem to oppose His. But the end is certain. God’s Will is done on earth as it is in Heaven.
The central idea is that you will seek and find according to God’s Will, which guarantees that your will is done. A happy ending is assured for every problem, every trial, every situation. You thank God for this guarantee and ask Him to help you not interfere. For it is you, through doubt and fear, who delay the happy end. But it will come. It is inevitable, because God has promised it.
This lesson builds upon the previous one (calm and peace) and prepares for lessons 293–295 on the end of fear, the body’s neutrality, and the Holy Spirit’s vision. It echoes lesson 279 (freedom is promised now) and lesson 286 (you have nothing to do). The certainty of a happy outcome allows you to walk through difficulties with serene trust, knowing that no matter what happens, the end is already written in God’s love.
To live this lesson today, when a situation seems difficult or uncertain, remember: 'A happy outcome for this thing is sure.' Do not focus on how it will happen, just trust. Say: 'Father, I thank You that the happy end is already guaranteed. Help me not to interfere with Your promise.' Let go of the need to control the outcome. The peace you feel in letting go is proof that the happy end is already on its way.
Whatever happens today, whatever you go through, remember: the end is already written. And that end is happy. It is because God has willed it so, and nothing can oppose His Will.
