My true Identity is so secure, so lofty, sinless, glorious and great, wholly beneficent and free from guilt, that Heaven looks to It to give it light. It lights the world as well. It is the gift my Father gave me, the one as well I give the world. There is no gift but This that can be either given or received. This is reality, and only This. This is illusion's end. It is the Truth.
My Name, oh Father, still is known to You. I have forgotten it, and do not know where I am going, who I am, or what it is I do. Remind me, Father, now, for I am weary of the world I see. Reveal what You would have me see instead.
God is your Father and He loves you infinitely
This lesson celebrates the most fundamental relationship in the universe: God is your Father and He loves you with infinite love. Your true Identity is so certain, so exalted, sinless, glorious and great, entirely benevolent and free of guilt, that Heaven itself turns to it for illumination. This Identity is not yours for personal benefit alone: it also enlightens the world. The prayer acknowledges having forgotten our Name and asks.
The prayer of this lesson is poignant in its honesty: "My Name, O Father, is still known to You. I have forgotten it, and I do not know where I am going, who I am, or what I am doing."
The request that follows is simple and direct: "Remind me now, Father, for I am weary of the world I see. Reveal to me what You would have me see instead." You are weary of the world you see, weary of illusions, weary of suffering, weary of searching without finding. By integrating this wisdom, you transform every moment into an opportunity to return to true peace.
Practice:
Today, repeat several times: "God is my Father, and He loves His Son." When you feel lost, confused, or forgotten, add: "You know my true Name. Remind me of it." Then remain silent and open. Do not seek to receive an answer in any particular form. The answer will come as an inner certainty, a sudden peace, or a subtle shift in perception. Trust the Father who knows your name and awaits you.
God has not forgotten who you are, even if you have: He knows your true Name and waits for you to turn to Him so He can remind you.
