Lesson 222
Lesson 222

God is with me. I live and breathe in Him.

God is with me. He is my Source of life, the life within, the air I breathe, the food by which I am sustained, the water which renews and cleanses me. He is my home, wherein I live and move; the Spirit Which directs my actions, offers me Its Thoughts, and guarantees my safety from all pain. He covers me with kindness and with care, and holds in love the Son He shines upon, who also shines on Him. How still is he who knows the truth of what He speaks today!

Father, we have no words except Your Name upon our lips and in our minds, as we come quietly into Your Presence now, and ask to rest with You in peace a while.

✨ Summary & practice

God is with you. You live and move in Him.

This lesson proclaims the immediate, intimate presence of God in every aspect of your existence. God is not a distant being seated on a heavenly throne. He is your Source of life, the air you breathe, the food that sustains you, the water that renews and purifies you. He is the life within you, the silent pulse animating every cell. Let His Name be your only word on your lips, asking to rest with Him.

The lesson goes further: God is your home, the place where you live and move. The Holy Spirit directs your actions, offers you His Thoughts, and assures you are safe from all pain. He covers you with gentleness and care, as a parent watches over a child.

The prayer that ends the lesson is touchingly simple: you calmly enter His Presence, without unnecessary words, carrying only His Name on your lips and in your mind. You simply ask to rest with Him in peace for a moment. By integrating this wisdom, you transform every moment into an opportunity to return to true peace.

Practice:

Today, several times, take a conscious breath. As you inhale, silently say: "God is with me." As you exhale, say: "I live and move in Him." Let the rhythm of your breath become a continuous prayer. When you eat, thank the food as an expression of God. When you drink water, feel it as divine purification. When you walk, feel that you move in Him.

God is not a concept to believe in, but a presence to breathe: with each inhalation, you receive life; with each exhalation, you surrender to Him.
