Lesson 330

This may be called perfection of unity.

Excerpt

Primeval man enjoyed perfect tranquillity throughout life. In his day, the Positive and Negative principles were peacefully united; spiritual beings gave no trouble; the four seasons followed in due order; nothing suffered any injury; death was unknown; men had knowledge, but no occasion to use it. This may be called perfection of unity.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Chuang Tzu, in the beginning people lived simply, in perfect union with nature and with one another: no one forced the natural order, and everything followed its course. Today, find a little of this simplicity again: share a meal or a walk with someone without screens or plans, letting the moment follow its course.
