Lesson 300

The man of perfect faith can extend his influence to inanimate things and disembodied spirits.

Excerpt

The man of perfect faith can extend his influence to inanimate things and disembodied spirits; he can move heaven and earth, and fly to the six cardinal points without encountering any hindrance. His powers are not confined to walking in perilous places and passing through water and fire.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Lieh Tzu, the absolutely simple man, without calculation or duplicity, wins over all beings by his simplicity; he touches heaven and earth and even appeases the spirits of the ancestors, so that nothing is hostile to him: fire and water that do not harm him are the image of a peace that nothing can reach. Today, in a difficult encounter, give up any strategy, simply be sincere, and watch how hostility is disarmed.
