Lesson 289

For all things have their own particular constitutions and potentialities.

Excerpt

From the subjective point of view, there are possibilities and impossibilities, there are suitabilities and unsuitabilities. This results from the natural affinity of things for what they are and their natural antagonism to what they are not. For all things have their own particular constitutions and potentialities. Nothing can exist without these.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Chuang Tzu, every human being carries within an inner sense of what is right and what is not, and this sense vibrates in unison in all people; words that agree with it are received and endure, because they are natural. Today, before speaking, listen to this sense within you and say only what rings true, simply.
