The ultimate end is God. He is manifested in the laws of nature. He is the hidden spring. At the beginning, He was. This, however, is inexplicable. It is unknowable. But from the unknowable we reach the known.

✨ To meditate on today
According to Chuang Tzu, man, so small upon the earth, can reach as far as Heaven through his mind; at the bottom of everything he finds nature, and at the heart of nature the Principle, the pivot of all things, which appears double (yin and yang, the two complementary forces of the world) without really being so. Today, look at one simple thing in nature, a leaf, a cloud, a stone, and remember that it rests on the same Principle as you do.
