Lesson 79

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance.

Excerpt

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance; But by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken. The heart of him that hath discernment seeketh knowledge; But the mouth of fools feedeth on folly. All the days of the poor are evil; But he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Proverbs, the joy of the heart shows on the face, and whoever has a contented heart lives as in a continual feast, even when the days are hard. Today, consciously smile at three people you meet, and notice what that smile changes within you and around you.
