This palace is also called the “Palace of Will,” because whoever knows how to unite these palaces draws the will of God from above to below, which means that he brings it about that the will of God be fulfilled in love here below as well as above. In this palace is Moses, who died by a kiss of love; therefore this palace is called the Palace of Moses. The spirit that dwells therein is a spirit of love, a spirit of union; for it is he who brings about the union in love of the six lights below with those above. The sparks that spring from these lights give birth to four sacred “Hayoth” of goodness and love.

According to the Zohar, the great book of Jewish mysticism, there is in the spiritual world a “Palace of Will” where the will of God is fulfilled in love here below as above; tradition says that Moses dwells there, he who left this life by a “kiss” from God. The spirit of this palace is a spirit of love and union, and from it spring the “Hayoth,” living heavenly beings of goodness and love. Today, before each important decision, ask yourself how it can be fulfilled in love, and choose that path.
