Lesson 260

I will awake the dawn.

Excerpt

My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn. I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the peoples; And I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations. For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, And Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, David, the heart made steadfast in God wakes before daybreak to sing, for His mercy rises above the heavens and His truth reaches the skies. Today, begin your day with a song, some music or a few words of gratitude, as if to awaken the dawn yourself.
