Lesson 174

He giveth power to the faint; And to him that hath no might He increaseth strength.

Excerpt

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard That the everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Fainteth not, neither is weary? His discernment is past searching out. He giveth power to the faint; And to him that hath no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall; But they that wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; They shall walk, and not faint.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Isaiah, God knows neither fatigue nor weariness, and He gives strength to the one at the end of his strength: even the youngest may grow weary, but those who hope in Him mount up like eagles. Today, when tiredness rises, stop for a minute, breathe deeply and entrust your weariness to God before setting off again.
