According to the Maxims of the Fathers (Pirkei Avot), love founded on an interest (beauty, advantage, pleasure) disappears with it, while love that depends on nothing, like the friendship of David and Jonathan in the Bible, never ceases. Today, show your affection to someone for no particular reason, simply because they matter to you.
