Lesson 118

So have I looked for Thee in the sanctuary, To see Thy power and Thy glory.

Excerpt

O God, Thou art my God, earnestly will I seek Thee; My soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is. So have I looked for Thee in the sanctuary, To see Thy power and Thy glory.

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the psalmist, even in a dry land without water, the soul thirsts for God and longs to behold His power and His glory. Today, in a moment of dryness or weariness, instead of scattering yourself, take a moment to tell God simply, in your own words, your longing for Him.
