Lesson 11

No eye hath seen, save Thine alone, O Lord, what Thou hast reserved for those who hope in Thee.

Excerpt

Consider that the Holy One, blessed be He, created man in this world and endowed him with such qualities that it was possible for him to merit the Heavenly Light which the Holy One, blessed be He, has hidden and reserved for the Just, as it is written: โ€œNo eye hath seen, save Thine alone, O Lord, what Thou hast reserved for those who hope in Thee.โ€

โœจ To meditate on today

According to the Zohar, the great book of Jewish mysticism, God created the human being able to receive a Heavenly Light, reserved for those who hope in Him and whose beauty no one can imagine. Today, when something discourages you, remember that a light still awaits you, and do an act of kindness as if to open the door to it.
