According to Shabistari, a Persian Sufi poet, the universe is a book written by God, in which every creature is a letter, a sign or a pause, and the one whose inner sight opens learns to read it. Today, choose an element of nature, a tree, a cloud, an insect, and "read" it for a few moments: ask yourself what it tells you of the goodness of its Creator.
