Excerpt

But the torch of love is not like that torch, 'Tis light, light in the midst of light, 'Tis the reverse of torches of fire, It appears to be fire, but is all sweetness. Love generates love. "If ye love God, God will love you"

โœจ To meditate on today

According to Rumi, the torch of love does not burn like ordinary fire: it is a gentle light, and love gives birth to love, as the word of the Koran he quotes says. Today, offer a little love where you would not have done so spontaneously, a smile or a heartfelt thank-you, and notice what it awakens in return.
