Lesson 332

Enter this diwân with love, yield up thy soul with self-abandonment, and enter this palace.

Excerpt

Enter this diwân with love, yield up thy soul with self-abandonment, and enter this palace. In such a hippodrome, where the soul has never shown itself, in this hippodrome which was never even seen, unless thou enter with affection, thou shalt not behold so much as its dust.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Attar, to enter the “diwân”, the audience hall of the divine King, one must give oneself with love: without affection, one does not even glimpse its dust. Today, choose a task you usually do out of duty and carry it out with affection, with all your heart, as if you were entering that palace.
