✨ To meditate on today
According to Saadi, the Persian poet of the Gulistan (“The Rose Garden”), the legendary king Faridun had this maxim embroidered on the walls of his pavilion: true wisdom does good where it is not expected, toward those who lack it most, for the good already have honour and happiness. Today, offer an act of kindness to someone who has displeased you or who does not seem to you to deserve it.
