Lesson 324

For He is merged in all beauty.

Excerpt

How shall I find words for the beauty of my Beloved? For He is merged in all beauty. His colour is in all the pictures of the world, and it bewitches the body and the mind. Those who know this, know what is this unutterable play of the Spring.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Kabir, a mystic poet of India, the Beloved — God, loved as one loves the dearest of beings — is merged in all beauty: His colour is in all the pictures of the world, and spring is like His play. Today, look for three beautiful things along your way (a flower, a light, a smile) and, before each one, pause for a moment to recognise in it the trace of this Love.
