If you have not drunk of the nectar of that One Love, what boots it though you should purge yourself of all stains?

According to Kabir, a music of joy is already playing in the middle of the heart’s “chamber”: it is the “Unstruck Music”, that inner sound which comes from no instrument, and there is no need to go outside to hear it; without the nectar of the One Love, all purifications remain vain. Today, close your eyes for a minute in a quiet place, listen to the silence within you and let it fill with tenderness.
