According to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, Jesus’ new commandment, to love others as He loves them, is a gift: it is He who wants to love in her those she finds hard to love. Today, facing someone you find difficult, say inwardly “Love them in me,” then make a kind gesture towards them.
