Communicate often, then, Philothea, and as often as you can, with the counsel of your spiritual father; for, if it be true that the hares of our mountains become white in winter, because they see and eat nothing but snow, believe also that, by continually contemplating and partaking of beauty, goodness, and purity itself in this divine sacrament, you will become wholly beautiful, wholly good, and wholly pure.

โจ To meditate on today
According to Saint Francis de Sales, just as mountain hares turn white in winter from seeing nothing but snow, we become what we contemplate: by often receiving communion (the consecrated bread of the Mass), we let ourselves be transformed by the beauty, goodness and purity of God. Today, choose carefully what you look at and what you listen to, and give yourself at least one moment to contemplate something beautiful and good.
