The Lord will not forsake His people.

According to the First Book of Samuel, the prophet Samuel reassures the people: God will not forsake them, for it is out of pure goodness that He made them His people. Today, in a moment when you feel alone or defeated, slowly repeat “He will not forsake me,” then take a step toward someone whom you, too, do not want to forsake.
