Lesson 136

Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep.

Excerpt

Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep. Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble. Be not wise in your own conceits. To no man rendering evil for evil. Providing good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men.

✨ To meditate on today

According to Saint Paul, to love is to share both the joy and the sorrow of others, to stay humble, never to repay evil with evil, and to do everything that depends on you to live in peace with everyone. Today, rejoice sincerely in a loved one’s good news, and check in on someone who is going through a hard time.
