✨ To meditate on today

According to the Sutta-Nipāta, an ascetic who came to question the Buddha greets him as the Muni, the silent sage, conqueror of Māra, the tempter who embodies desire: having cut off desire, he has crossed the river of suffering and helps others to cross it. Today, notice a desire that stirs you and let it pass without following it, then help someone get through a small difficulty.
