According to The Gospel of Buddha, all the Buddhas, the awakened ones of all times, share one essence, present everywhere, which sanctifies the bonds that unite all souls and offers a refuge of peace. Today, think of three very different people (someone close, a stranger you passed, someone you disagree with) and wish each of them peace, feeling what connects you.
