According to the Lotus of the True Law, gods pray to the Buddha to teach so that all beings may awaken or be reborn in happy worlds, and that even the Asuras (“demons”), powerful beings dominated by anger and jealousy, may become peaceful, self-possessed and happy. As you walk today, wish this calm and happiness to every person you pass, including those who seem angry to you.
