✨ To meditate on today

According to the Itivuttaka, those who live according to the Law, the Buddha’s teaching, are like torch-bearers: they enlighten, shine, see far and forsake quarrels, and their presence gives rise to joy. Today, give up a quarrel (a discussion in which you want to be right, a reproach you keep turning over) and bring instead a little light through a clear and kind word.
