✨ To meditate on today
According to the Udâna, some monks who were too noisy had been sent away by the Buddha; instead of taking offence, their elder Yasoja understands that it was out of kindness for them, and invites them to live in a way that will gladden their master. Today, if a remark has stung you, look for the good it wished for you, and answer it with a concrete change rather than with resentment.
