According to the Lotus of the True Law, when a Buddha awakens, after an immense wait (ten “kalpas”, cosmic ages), all beings rejoice together: the gods, men, serpent-beings (Nāgas) and titans (Asuras). Today, rejoice sincerely in someone else’s success or progress, and tell them so.
