Hail! thou art come at last, O Light of the world! thou, born to be bounteous towards all beings.

According to the Lotus of the True Law, heavenly beings joyfully greet a Buddha who has come into the world after a long night, telling him that he was born “out of compassion for all beings”. Today, welcome each person you meet as a precious presence, and make sure that your own arrival (in a room, a meeting, a home) brings a little kindness.
