My holiness is far beyond my own ability to understand or know. Yet God my Father, Who created it, acknowledges my holiness as His. Our Will, together, understands it. And our Will, together, knows that it is so.
Father, my holiness is not of me. It is not mine to be destroyed by sin. It is not mine to suffer from attack. Illusions can obscure it, but can not put out its radiance nor dim its light. It stands forever perfect and untouched. In it are all things healed, for they remain as You created them. And I can know my holiness. For Holiness Itself created me and I can know my Source because it is Your Will that You be known.

We are drawing near the end. Having opened your heart through gratitude (Lesson 298), this lesson celebrates the holiness that has always been within you. In the curriculum, it is a final declaration of identity. Your holiness is far beyond your own ability to understand or know. But God, your Father, Who created it, recognizes your holiness as His own. Your Will together understands and knows that it is so. Your holiness is not from you, it is from God.
The central idea is that your holiness cannot be destroyed by sin, nor harmed by attack. Illusions may obscure it, but they cannot extinguish its radiance. It stands forever perfect and untouched. In it, all things are healed, for they remain as God created them. You can know your holiness, because it is Holiness Itself that created you. You can know your Source, because it is God’s Will to be known.
This lesson prepares for the final lesson (300). It echoes Lesson 252 (the Son of God is my Identity), Lesson 260 (God created me), and Lesson 285 (my holiness shines). It is the summit of the entire journey from Lessons 241 to 300: the recognition that holiness is not a quality you attain, but your eternal nature, given by God and unchangeable.
To practice this today, take a moment of silence. Close your eyes and feel within you the presence of something holy, immutable, eternal. Do not seek it in your mind, seek it in your heart. When you feel it, even for an instant, recognize: "This holiness is me. It is not mine, but it is me. It is the Holiness of God." Let this certainty settle in. It is the truth of who you are, and nothing can alter it.
Holiness is not something you become, it is something you are. You have always been holy, you are holy now, and you will always be. For the Holiness of God dwells in you, and God does not change.
