Today I choose to look upon what Christ would have me see, to listen to God's Voice, and seek the witnesses to what is true in God's creation. In Christ's sight, the world and God's creation meet, and as they come together all perception disappears. His kindly sight redeems the world from death. For nothing that He looks on but must live, remembering the Father and the Son;Creator and Creation unified.
Father, Christ's vision is the way to You. What He beholds invites Your memory to be restored to me. And this I choose to be what I would look upon today.

After choosing Christ’s vision (lesson 270), this lesson reminds you that it is a continuous choice. In the curriculum, it is an important practical reminder. Each day, each hour, each moment, you choose what you wish to look at, the sounds you want to hear, the witnesses of what you accept as true for you. No one chooses for you. You are constantly voting for your reality by what you look at and listen to.
The central idea is that today you choose to look at what Christ would have you see, to listen to the Voice of God, and to seek witnesses of what is true in God’s creation. In Christ’s sight, the world and God’s creation meet, and when they do, all perception disappears. His gentle vision redeems the world from death, for everything He beholds can only live and remember the Father and the Son united.

To live this lesson today, be vigilant at every moment. When you open your eyes in the morning, consciously choose Christ’s vision. When you meet someone, choose to see Christ in them. When a negative thought arises, choose to replace it with Christ’s vision. Make it a game: each time you remember, repeat, 'This is the vision of Christ I am using now.' The more you practice, the more automatic the choice becomes.
You are constantly choosing. Each instant is an opportunity to choose light over darkness. Today, choose wisely, choose Christ.
