All salvation rests upon your decision.

This lesson reveals the immense trust God has placed in you. "Father, Your trust in me has been so great that I must be worthy of it. You created me and You know me as I am. And yet You have placed the salvation of Your Son in my hands and let it rest upon my decision.

The lesson expresses awe at this trust: "I must indeed be deeply loved by You. And I must be firm in holiness, that You would give Your Son to me with the certainty that he is safe, He Who is still part of You, and yet is mine, because He is my Self.

The lesson ends with an invitation to contemplation: "Thus, once again today, we pause to think how much our Father loves us. And how dear His Son remains to Him, created by His Love and in Whom His Love is made complete." Pause. Think of this. You are so loved that God has placed the salvation of all creation in your hands.

Practice:

Today, before every decision, even the smallest, remember: "Salvation rests upon my decision. What do I choose?" When you choose peace, love, forgiveness, know that you are choosing for the whole world. Whether you choose patience over irritation, kindness over harshness, silence over a hurtful word, each small choice has cosmic consequences.

God never forces you: He waits, with infinite patience and absolute trust, for you to make the decision that frees you, knowing that in freeing yourself, you free everyone with you.
