Lesson 237
Lesson 237

Now would I be as God created me.

Today I will accept the truth about myself. I will arise in glory, and allow the light in me to shine upon the world throughout the day. I bring the world the tidings of salvation that I hear as God my Father speaks to me. And I behold the world that Christ would have me see, aware it ends the bitter dream of death; aware it is my Father's call to me.

Christ is my eyes today, and His the ears which listen to the Voice of God today. Father, I come to You through Him Who is Your Son and my true Self as well. Amen.

✨ Summary & practice

Be as God created you, now.

This lesson is a declaration of total acceptance of your true identity. "Today I will accept the truth about myself. I will rise in glory and allow the light within me to shine upon the world all through the day." The movement is clear: rise in glory. Not a glory you must earn or deserve, but one that is your birthright. And let this light shine effortlessly, as the sun naturally illuminates. You do not need to decide how to light the world, simply accept the truth about yourself, and the light radiates on its own. The truth about you is not a concept to analyze, but a reality to embody.

The lesson describes your mission in the world: "I bring to the world the glad tidings of salvation I hear when my Father speaks to me. And I behold the world the Christ would have me see, knowing it ends the bitter dream of death; knowing it is the Call my Father makes to me." Salvation is not a doctrine you preach, but a message you carry by your mere presence.

The conclusion is beautiful: "Christ is my eyes today, and He is also the ears that listen to the Voice for God today. Father, I come to You through Him, Who is Your Son as well as my true Self." You no longer see with your limited eyes, but with the eyes of Christ. You no longer listen with your physical ears, but with the ears of Christ that hear the Voice of God.

Practice:

At the start of the day, say: "Today, I accept the truth about myself. I am as God created me." Then, throughout the day, before looking at anything, remind yourself: "Christ is my eyes now. What do I see through Him?" Before listening to someone, say: "Christ is my ears now. What is God’s Voice telling me through this person?" You will see your perception transform completely.

Christ is not someone outside you: He is the truth of who you are. And by recognizing yourself in Him, you see the world and God with His eyes.
