Review (167 and 168)

The one life and the grace that delivers.

We are nearing the end of this great review cycle. The central thought resonates within you like a familiar melody: God is only Love, therefore I am Love too. Why is this review so crucial now? Because lessons 167 and 168 touch the very essence of who you are: one life shared with God, and the grace He gives you. These truths can only be understood with the heart, and the heart is shaped through repetition and contemplation.

Lesson 167 proclaimed there is only one life and you share it with God. Life has no opposite. Death is the belief that you are separated from your Creator. Ideas do not leave their source, that is why you can heal and why you cannot die. Lesson 168 reminded you that God’s grace is given to you and you can claim it now. God speaks to you and does not hide. His grace restores all the memories you had forgotten. God loves His Son, that is enough.

These lessons are pillars of your new identity. Lesson 180 (review 169–170) will crown them magnificently. Revisions 171–180 are the time when the Course’s teaching becomes your flesh and blood. God is only Love, therefore you are Love, and Love shares one life with God. You have never been separate, and you never will be.

Practice:

Today, live in the awareness of one life shared. When you see someone, recognize that the same life flows through you both. When you look at nature, recognize the same life. And do not forget to claim grace: 'Your grace is given to me. I claim it now.' Grace is there, every instant, waiting for your simple 'yes.'

Life is one. And this life, this grace, that is you.
