Review (155 and 156)

Stepping aside and walking in holiness.

Today’s review focuses on two beautiful lessons that describe the transformed life. The guiding thought leads us: God is only Love, therefore I am too. Why are we reviewing? Because these lessons are not theories, they are invitations to experience. The life you live can change radically when you begin to step aside and walk with God in perfect holiness. Review allows you to move from knowing to embodying.

Lesson 155 showed you there is a path without loss or sacrifice that leads beyond the world. You need not give up anything, only let truth go before you. Stepping aside is not self-erasure; it is recognizing that God can guide you far better than you guide yourself. Lesson 156 revealed that you walk with God in perfect holiness. Ideas do not leave their source, you cannot be separated from Him. A light within you cannot die.

These two lessons are inseparable. Stepping aside allows you to walk with God. Walking with God gives you the confidence to step aside. Lesson 174 (review 157–158) and lesson 175 (review 159–160) will extend this experience. Reviews 171–180 are the time when understanding becomes wisdom of the heart. God is only Love, therefore you are love, and love always walks in the light.

Practice:

Today, with every step you take, literally while walking, or metaphorically in your decisions, become aware that you are walking with God. Say: “I step aside. Guide me.” Then move forward with confidence. Feel the holiness of each step. You are not alone. You walk with your Creator, and the world is sanctified by your presence.
